  • Farmer-centric models, rural outreach, and training initiatives.
  • Contribution to national food security and agri-growth.

Eligibility:African seed firms or multinationals operating in Africa.

Criteria :

  • Demonstrated impact on agricultural transformation in Africa.
  • Promotion of improved seeds among smallholders.
  • Collaboration with local institutions and capacity-building.

Eligibility: Trade organizations, policy leaders, or individual experts.

Criteria :

  • Advocacy for seed harmonization, regulatory reforms, and trade facilitation.
  • Strengthening South-South cooperation, especially India-Africa trade.
  • Establishment of innovative market or trade networks.

Eligibility: Startups (≤7 years old), innovators, and digital solution providers.

Criteria :

  • Use of AI, IoT, blockchain, or data analytics in seed production or distribution.
  • Proven results in enhancing farm outcomes or seed traceability.
  • Entrepreneurial success with potential for regional scaling.

  • Development and promotion of climate-resilient seed varieties.
  • Field-level evidence of improved resilience to drought, salinity, heat, or floods.
  • Contribution to sustainable agriculture and climate-smart solutions.

Eligibility:Visionaries with a career span of 25+ years.
